On September 11th and 12th, 2010 Brian was part of Team Venture, and biked from Hope to Seward and back to raise money for the National MS Society. Approx 150 miles!
Team Venture on day two at the start in Seward. Team Captain Robb Nesvick, Khris White, and Brian Ross. GO TEAM VENTURE!!
Brian conquers a hill on his way up to Summit Lake, and then on to the finish at Hope. Brian loved the motivational graffiti painted on the roads along the route.
BIKE MS featured 4 rest stops each day between Hope and Seward. They fueled the bikers with pancakes, mac & cheese, soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and more.
Robb and Brian rolled into the finish line with a couple of hours to spare before the ride route was closed. Brian's bike shorts were restricting his leg muscles, so "surgery" was performed on them at break 2.
Team Venture at Hope High School finish line. They raised over $1300 to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. www.nationalmssociety.org
Brian with Jerry, the toughest rider on the road. He's 60 years old, and rode a vintage, 40 pound, ONE SPEED SCHWINN. He pedalled along smiling, dragging everyone's excuses behind his rear wheel.
